Last year, in 2025 I created a haunted house in my family's two-car garage which attracted over 2,000 attendees. We donated all of the proceeds to the Fort Lauderdale Sailing Foundation ($3,000).  The theme for the event was centered on the swamp (Called "Bloody Bayou"). Some of the highlights were a life-size alligator I made of foam, a laser swamp, and a swamp shack which was home to a "skeleton swamp hag". One thing I used to my benefit was the bulk trash around my area. I would scavenge each day for items to use (Around 80% of the haunted house was recycled bulk). I envisioned, and designed everything you could possibly think of that one would need to create such a masterpiece. Throughout the production I designed the floor plan, drew concept art, built complex structures, did sound, lighting, costume, and special effects design, built budget plans, hired and managed individuals (scare actors, crowd control, security, makeup artists), projection mapped, and even programmed my own animatronic! In the end I won the title of the neighborhood Halloween competition, donated all of the wood used for the haunt to Haiti, for Hurricane relief, and began working on Halloween 2026!
