After hearing about a child who vanished without a trace, three siblings venture into a mysterious reed field despite their mother's warning- only to discover some stories are better left unexplored.
I wrote the script for this short film, during the summer of 2024. I filmed the movie in Ireland and was able to finish shooting in a week and a half. When I started the editing process, I thought it was missing something, so I reached out to the actors and crew, and we decided to finish/add two scenes. We finished filming in the summer of 2025, and I finished editing late 2025. Although it feels like a very abrupt ending, our time in Ireland was limited so we had to compromise. The sole purpose of the story is to underline and teach the audience that self-reliance and resilience are key in difficult situations. It teaches you how to navigate uncertainty and adapt to new situations, ultimately helping you to grow stronger and more resourceful. A cliffhanger also hints at a sequel or an ending, leaving people on the edge of their seats.
